We visited Spain for three weeks in Spring of 2022, and I can't say enough good things about it. The scenery was breathtaking, the architecture incredible, and the food terrific. We were immersed in the history of a place that has been occupied by Mediterranean people since Roman times and before. Especially noteworthy was the Moorish architecture in Granada and Seville, with its beautiful tile work and intricate stone carving. The architecture of Gaudi was featured prominently in Barcelona. And the resort towns of San Sebastian and Hendaye offered stunning ocean views, while Sitges featured the Mediterranean. And did I mention the food?
